AN ONTARIO FIRST NATION TRIBE IS TRYING TO GET RYAN REYNOLDS TO BE THEIR NEW CHIEF

He's already on the ballot.

It’s official — 2020 couldn’t possibly get any weirder. An Ontario First Nation tribe has nominated Ryan Reynolds to be their new Chief. Yes, Van Wilder himself now has a shot at being the new leader of Walpole Island First Nation, a reservation that borders Ontario and Michigan.

According to TMZ, Reynolds was nominated as a result of a hundred-year-old loophole, which allows non-members to be elected Chief. So, technically anyone could become the community’s leader; they’ve just decided to dream big.

If elected, Reynolds would need to attend a swearing-in ceremony. Walpole First Nation states that a community elder would deliver a traditional opening at the event, which would also include a light dinner.
