SoundExchange Acquires CMRRA

US recorded music licensing org SoundExchange announced today that it has acquired the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency Ltd. (CMRRA), a licensing collective representing the vast majority of songs recorded, sold and broadcast in Canada.
