Stephen King’s It crawled back onto the scene in 2017, when the first of two movie remakes came out. The second film, based like the first on King’s 1,100-page 1986 bestseller, isn’t a sequel — it’s a continuation of the plot, taking place 27 years after the first film. One of the year’s biggest spooky movies, It Chapter 2, comes out in September. The new, final It Chapter 2 trailer is here, another look at Pennywise’s return in Derry and the Losers banding together to defeat him. Fans at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 got an even deeper look at the movie at New Line’s New Line third Scarediego event, where it showed the trailer and three new clips of the movie, and presented the movie’s director and cast to an audience eager for scares. A new trailer for Andy Muschietti’s upcoming horror film It: Chapter Two has arrived, and unlike the first trailer, which focused mostly on a slow, increasingly uncomfortable confrontation, the new one ramps up the pace, intensity, and reveals.
It: Chapter Two continues with the second half of Stephen King’s 1986 novel It, an 1,169-page monster of a book that covers two periods in the lives of a handful of people from one of King’s favorite fictional settings: Derry, Maine. Muschietti’s 2017 hit It walked through the first half, where seven Derry kids become aware of a terrible monster preying on the people of their town, and set out to fight it. READ MORE
