    JOB TITLE: TV PRODUCTION ASSISTANT – NEWSROOM

    YOUR ROLE
    You must have the integrity and self-confidence to bring our programming to life. In their homes and cars, on their computers and mobile devices, you care about connecting with Canadians. You think on your feet, shine in the spotlight and aspire to inform, entertain and enlighten our audiences.
    The associate producer assists the producer / switcher-director in developing, planning, preparing and live playout of our Television programs via the automated control room.

    We are looking for a candidate with the following: 
    .
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Professional College Degree or equivalent
    • Three (3) years’ relevant experience including live playout in a news production environment

    .

    SKILLS:

    • Good knowledge of presentation/playout software applications (iNews)
    • Firm command of production methods
    • Good knowledge of Avid and VIzrt applications
    • Fluent in the working language (French)
    • Knowledge of automated control room operations an asset
    • English an asset
    • Good general knowledge, especially of current events
    • Good knowledge of all aspects of television production

    CANDIDATES WILL BE TESTED AS FOLLOWS:

    • Theory testing: French test
    • Interview
