TORONTO, ON – On Friday, Sept. 7th, L’Oréal Paris Canada, the Official Beauty Sponsor for the 43rd Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), debuted the #WorthIt Show in Canada. First launched at the Cannes International Film Festival, the #WorthIt Show is an inspiring platform to give voice to women in the film industry. L’Oréal Paris spokeswomen Andie MacDowell and Amber Heard, joined TIFF Share Her Journey Ambassador Shohreh Aghdashloo and ET Canada host Sangita Patel at the Globe and Mail Centre this afternoon to discuss the current climate of women in film.
The show also drove awareness for the #WorthSaying campaign, in support of TIFF’s Share Her Journey program, that reinforces the values of inclusivity and empowerment. Throughout the duration of TIFF, consumers can take part in the conversation on social media, where L’Oréal Paris Canada will donate $0.25 to TIFF’s Share Her Journey for each #WorthSaying mention.
