TORONTO, ON – A new ensemble comedy show that satirizes our obsession with technology and media has hit the online market featuring fresh Canadian talent.
Born from the mind of creator Colin Mercer comes Game Time Comedy, a sketch comedy show that builds story and character in a way that plays out like short films, giving the series a rich and cinematic vibe.
In a bustling world of Instagram, podcasts, self-help apps, and millennial plight, Game Time is here to make fun of our new normal. Think SCTV meets Black Mirror. From text obsession to helicopter parents of twenty-year-olds to self induced water torture in order to gain followers, this sketch show will have you laughing at characters and situations that may feel a touch too close to home.
Featuring a hilarious and diverse cast of Toronto talent: Leah Doz, Tal Gottfried, Rose Tuong, Tony Ofori, Scott Farley, and creator Colin Mercer inject the series with fun, quirky, and loveable characters.
The series is written by Mercer along with contributions and sketches from Farley.
