The Umbrella Academy forecast calls for new Season 2 castings.

Netflix announced on Tuesday a trio of new faces boarding its comic book adaptation: Yusuf Gatewood (The Originals, Good Omens), Marin Ireland (Homeland, Sneaky Pete) and Ritu Arya (Humans).

They join returning cast members Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin H. Min, who are all set to reprise their Season 1 roles. READ MORE

Netflix announced three new cast members coming to the second season of its adaptation of The Umbrella Academy, but none of the characters they’re playing are actually from the original comic. That’s understandable on the one hand, since the first season flew through a whole lot of the source material, but the character descriptions that Netflix shared also seem suspiciously normal for a show that got pretty wild (especially in the final moments of season one). “The Umbrella Academy” is bringing in three new cast members for season 2.

Ritu Arya, Yusuf Gatewood and Marin Ireland are all set to join returning cast members Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, and Justin H. Min for the Netflix show’s sophomore outing.

Arya, best known for her role in the AMC shows “Humans,” has been cast as Lila, a chameleon who can be as brilliant or as clinically insane as the situation requires. READ MORE
