A Toronto antique shop filled with old movie props is set to close its doors and now nearly half a million dollars worth of antiques are going up for auction on Saturday and Sunday.

Addison’s Inc. has been around since the 1960s when Jim Addison opened a plumbing and salvage warehouse on Gerrard Street.

From then, it evolved into a collection of vintage lighting, old furniture, artifacts and movie props.
