TORONTO, ON – Day Two of Toronto Fashion Week® x RE\SET™ saw some of the nation’s top designers showcase their latest FW2019 collections at the Fashion Environment and Gardiner Museum.

Montreal-based ELAMA x The House of Brand owned the runway at Style Night and showcased some of its distinct designs, blending modern elegance with irresistible vintage flair, styled by Sammie the Stylist. Bringing in the hottest drag queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race, Kimora Blac and Gia Gunn, closed out the presentation wearing the ELAMA Bubble Vest, Emma Headband and The House of Brand Gucci accessories. All designs featured on the runway are available at the ELAMA x The House of Brand pop-up at Yorkville Village until end of February (55 Avenue Rd., second level).

Fashion Talks™ host, Donna Bishop kicked off the evening with internationally-acclaimed designer David Dixon who spoke to guests about his latest collection Bübl x DAVID DIXON and its unique source of inspiration, bringing awareness to the two million Canadians suffering from osteoporosis.

Following the intimate discussion, Thomas Bàlint showcased his latest collection in the Fashion Environment. Guests were then invited to the Gardiner Museum to take in the rest of the designer presentations. With an entirely Indigenous cast, Lesley Hampton’s collection explored indigeneity and identity. Zoran Dobric and Pedram Karimi + Process Visual + One Undone sent models down the run with their latest pieces, while ROCK ‘N KARMA ended off the night with a live rock n’ roll performance and edgy collection.

beautyBOUTIQUE™ by Shoppers Drug Mart, under the lead of P1M artist Simone Otis, created makeup looks to accompany each designer’s looks, while Jorge Joao of Redken 5th Avenue NYC led hair designs for each show.

The Toronto Fashion Week® x RE\SET™ Showroom continued today in the Fashion Environment (136 Yorkville Ave.). Open from 11 AM – 10 PM daily, the public and event guests can meet and shop directly from designers including Hilary MacMillan, Jessica Bedard, Lesley Hampton, Pedram Karimi & Process Visuals and more.

In partnership with Winterlicious, STYLE PLATE returned, hosting a panel discussion atThe Hazelton HotelStyle Plate: Food – The New Fashion saw Chef Mark McEwenand Toronto Life magazine publisher Ken Hunt explore the synergies between food and fashion, style and creativity.
